Welcome to our group!

Functional Materials for Energy Conversion and Storage

Broad Research Interests of the Group:

  • Low-dimensional Halide Perovskites for Light Driven Multi-Functional Applications

  • 3rd Generation Solar Cells

  • Hierarchical Oxide Nanostructures for Photocatalysis

  • Hybrid Organic/Inorganic Composites For Solar Cells

Our general research interest is on ‘solar energy harvesting' through the utilization of band-gap engineered organic/inorganic composite hetero-architectures. We follow soft-chemical methodologies to fabricate those architectures. Characterizations of those smart systems and understanding the fundamental properties are an integral part of our research and we use diverse tools to understand and build a structure-property-function relationship towards solar-energy harvesting and utilization purposes.
